Refunds & cancellation
Applies to the $20/year self-hosted Mothership host license (and
first-year promo pricing such as OWNMS5). Free softphone clients are not sold
separately.
Trial
The Mothership includes a 30-day free trial from first boot. No card is required to try. Cancel by simply not purchasing a license before the trial ends (calling locks when the trial expires until you activate).
Annual license
- Paid yearly via Stripe Checkout (or renewal links we send).
- List price $20 USD / year per Mothership instance after any promo year.
- Promo codes (e.g. OWNMS5) apply once to eligible checkouts; renewals are full price unless stated otherwise.
Refunds
If you bought by mistake or the product cannot run on your hardware after a good-faith setup attempt, email midwife.zingers34@icloud.com within 14 days of purchase with your Stripe receipt / instance id. We generally refund unused first-year licenses in that window. After 14 days, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
Cancellation
Stop renewal by contacting support before the next billing date, or via the Stripe customer portal link when provided. After the paid period (and any grace days the product grants), the hub may lock softphone calling until you renew — your family data stays on your server.
Failed payment / grace
If renewal payment fails, PhoneHome may keep the hub in a short grace window before locking. Fix payment via Stripe or buy a new license for the same instance id.
